Ginta Tinte Vasermane was born in Riga (Latvia), received BFA from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (NL) and MFA
from the Netherlands Film Academy (NL). She works in the field of moving image, film, video installation, sculpture,
costume design and curating. Ginta has exhibited work at the Eye Film Museum,(NL), European Media Art
Festival (EMAF) Osnabrück (DE); Art Rotterdam (NL); and Stockholm Independent Art Fair (SE), among others.
Participated in artist residencies, like ISCP - International Studio & Curatorial Program; Residency Unlimited
and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, NYC. Ginta has been nominated for Mondrian Funds Young Talent grant
and to Rene Coelho prize by Dutch Media Art Institute. 2023/24 she was 4th Artist in residency at Eye Film Museum (NL)
